Harmonia Praga again at the New town hall

String Chamber Orchestra Harmonia Praga enters in the second year of its concert cycle "STYLE EVENINGS" on Jan. 22 at 7:30 pm. In the six concerts the orchestra will introduce you to various music periods and artistic genres by both music and word. January concert, under the baton of Štefan Britvík and violinist and artistic leader Miroslav Vilímec, will be focused on Czech composers.

Baroque music will be represented at the concert by P.J. Vejvanovský and J. Zach. You will also hear several other pieces, including Antonin Dvorak’s famous "Humoresque". The musical evening will be enriched with young, almost romantically minded Suite by Leoš Janáček..

The program will also spiced up by Bohuslav Martinů work. Work of B.Martinů will be presented by the orchestra Prague Harmony in every concert of this year concert cycle, as a tribute to 125. anniversary of the birth of this famous Czech composer. The presentation is organized also with cooperation of the Bohuslav Martinu Institute.
