Miroslav Vilímec – violin, art leader of Harmonia Praga

Miroslav Vilímec

Miroslav Vilímec belongs to the leading Czech violinists. He combines successfully his solo-career with the position of concert master of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra (concert master since 1992).As a soloist he has already performed with many famous Czech orchestras , Czech Philharmonic Orchestra,Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra FOK. At present he also makes appearances as a soloist with orchestra “Symphony Prague”. In addition, M.Vilímec is a great explorer of compositional work of the famous Czech violinist Jan Kubelík and has made a great number of gramophone and radio recordings.

Miroslav Vilímec (concert master of the Czech Philharmony) is art leader of the chamber orchestra Harmonia Praga. He often plays with this ensemble as a solist, too.
